| We use several different
techniques in brushing our new heart pine
flooring. Through this process we are able to
achieve a very unique and special look. Because
of the grain patterns, sap and resins found in
heart pine, when it is stained there will be
color variations throughout the floor, depending
on the amount of sap and resin in the wood. This
floor is produced from specially selected new
heart pine (mostly short leaf) to give it that
out of the ordinary look. This is one of our
most popular floors. **Unfinished will be
pre-sanded and ready to stain and finish. No
further sanding is necessary.
*Semi pre-finished with two coats of Dura
Seal TM Penetrating Oil Stain/Finish applied by
hand. It is a semi-transparent oil formulated to
seal, color and provide exceptional durability.
This rich blend of oil and resin gives wood
floors a soft satiny sheen. For more information

recommend an additional coat of finish be
applied. This can be another coat of Dura Seal,
polyurethane (www.duraseal.com)
or wax (www.briwax.com).
