Recently, we had the opportunity to provide the hardwood flooring for the 2007 Christmas House sponsored by the Atlanta Homes and Lifestyle Magazine in Atlanta, GA.

The builder decided on our Weathered Rustic Ash, which is one of the most stunning floors we manufacture. Unlike most woods, the grain patterns in each board seem to go in all directions, not your normal predictable grain pattern. Each floor includes character markings throughout, including bird peck, worm holes and small knot holes and checks, all of nature’s personal markings.

Ash is 2% harder than Red Oak on the Janka Hardness Test. It is a very resilient floor making it especially good in homes with children and pets.
